I don't care so much for the casino tower of the hotel as the bathroom door has to be shut all the time or you can't get in the room door. Watching the staff member handing out towels while puffing on an electronic cigarette and spit on the pool walkways was also completely disgusting! Bottom line, Winstar's a nice place and we'll go back without the kids, but if you're bringing the family along, go to Coushatta! Much more family friendly! More Show less Pool staff would not even allow us to serve our three year old snacks and a juice pouch making us leave the pool every time to to give her something to drink when she started getting fussy about wanting a drink. Watching the lifeguards chase after every guest bringing in drinks seemed way out of line compared to other resorts we have stayed at. Even though no one had said anything about outside drinks during out first three days at the pool, I could understand the rationale for this if the pool bar was open to order from, but it was closed until later in the day. Upon entry into the tower pool area, we were confronted by a lifeguard who stated that outside food and drinks were not allowed within the pool area. We decided we would spend the last full day at the tower pool with the kids. While overall, our family had a good time, our four night stay was marred by treatment exhibited by staff and management on our last day.
